Porto Alegre is one of the cities hosting games during the FIFA World Cup of Soccer 2014 (June 12 to July 13)  and  due to this global event, several new hotels started their operations and existing ones were renewed. Therefore, INDIN participants have a  list of hotels in all price ranges. Here you have a Google maps picture, where you can find some of the hotels located near the conference site, several of them located at a walking distance.  As usual, these hotels can be booked at very attractive rates at sites such as booking.com, hotels.com, decolar.com, etc. However, assuming that some participants would like to take advantage of this trip to INDIN in Brazil to know more about the country, we have made an arrangement with the Fellini travel agency (the official INDIN agency) where participants can book tours as well hotel rooms using the Fellini webpage specially created for the INDIN conference (Fellini web site).

It is important to note that the conference organization will not be able to provide bus transfer to all hotels.  We will offer bus transfers from the conference site at UFRGS to FIERGS (Federation of Industries), the venue of the welcome reception on Monday July 28th, and to the banquet dinner location on Tuesday 29th at night. After these events, there will be bus transfers back to the conference site at UFRGS as well as to the Hotel Laghetto Viverone Moinhos (located at Rua Dr. Vale, 579 - Moinhos de Vento, Porto Alegre - RS). This hotel will be used to host all invited speakers to INDIN 2014.
